Last year, Republic Services upgraded its Houston Resource Recy-rncling Center with a Bollegraaf Commercial Sorting System and HBC140 baler.rn"With Houston being the fifth largest city and having one of the lowest recycling rates nationwide, Republic Services saw the opportunity to expand our recycling operations," said David Hughes, Plant Operations Manager. "This new system [from Bollegraaf] gives Republic the ability to offer our customers an extensive and flexible recycling program to fit their individual needs," said Luis Franceschi, Division Manager. "We have the capability to be our customers' resource manager and not just their waste hauler."
