Shanying Subsidiary To Buy KY Paper Mill

A subsidiary of China based Shanying International announced that it signed a deal with Verso to acquire a paper mill in Wickliffe, Kentucky, for $16 million. The company plans to invest $150 million to rededicate the facility, which has been idle since 2015, to pulp and brown paper packaging production.
