The sparks should fly at the Dairy UK conference at Stoneleigh on September 19. The intention is to strip away the spin and camouflage, address hard issues, and if necessary, deliver hard messages. I'm quite comfortable with that. The bearers of these messages have been carefully selected and not one of them declined the challenge. Dairy farmers complain bitterly about their loss of market power. So we're bringing over International Federation of Agricultural Producers' president Jack Wilkinson from Canada - the country with the highest margin milk producers in the world - to explain their success. He readily accepted our invitation.
