EU focus on nutrition

The burden of health care costs associated with treating chronic disease is increasing. The benefit of good nutrition as a preventative measure is climbing higher up the political agenda. With this in mind, the EU has been funding several pan-European projects, the results of which will inform the opinion of nutrition policy makers and regulators within Europe.
