When I became Prime Minister inrnApril 2009, I said our governmentrnwould focus on performance for thernpeople, and I spoke of my hope thatrnour nation would move forwardrnunder the theme of "1 Malaysia -rnPeople First, Performance Now".rnI have emphasised these principlesrnat home, and they are also thernprinciples that will shape our foreignrnpolicy. Just as we depend on eachrnother to create a strong and unitedrnMalaysia, so, in this interconnectedrnworld, every country depends onrneach other to create a prosperousrnand harmonious planet.
