UAS Swarming Strategies

Threats of UAV swarms were suggested for many years, although the contemporary operating environment has yet to experience such events. To date, UAVs have been networked to other manned platforms- as witnessed in the US Army's Manned/Unmanned Teaming (MUM-T) concept, which networked AH-64 APACHE attack helicopters with various MALE UAVs including the RQ-7B SHADOW, but the battlespace has yet to feature UAVs networked to other UAVs in an attack configuration.
