Government Relations Director Col. Steve Strobridge, USAF-Ret., represented MOAA at a May 28 White House meeting of association leaders with first lady Michelle Obama and a host of senior administration officials and their spouses to share ideas on improving support for military families. Attendees included Dr. Jill Biden; National Security Advisor Gen. James Jones, USMC-Ret, and Mrs. Jones; Patty Shin-seki; Vice Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. James Cartwright, USMC; OMB Director Peter Orzag; and a long list of other senior officials.
