The Cambodian Army has a paper strength of around 75,000 divided among six military regions and a "special zone" around the capital. The force consists of one Airborne/Special Forces regiment, three armored battalions, two artillery battalions, an air defense battalion, four forward engineer regiments, one construction engineer regiment, and 12 light infantry brigades.
