Global Linking Through Archival Digitization:The Our Americas Archive Partnership and Spanish,Portuguese, and American Women (1876)

Current trends in digitization projects in the humani ties have significantly altered the manner in which we access, search for, define, and interact with lit erature. Of particular interest is the effort put forth to digitize historical archives, melding the old with the new and opening up new channels for interdisci plinary research. One such an example is the Our Americas Archive Partnership (OAAP),1 which en courages research from a hemispheric perspective.
