On the Pitman estimator for a family of non-regular distributions

In a location parameter case when the density has the different values at the endpoints of the bounded support, we obtain the asymptotic expansion of the Pitman estimator and its asymptotic variance. In a non-regular case when the density has an unbounded support, we also get them. Some examples are given.
