The 3-volume book series "Binding Technology of Fabrics" gives a comprehensive overview of the construction and design of fabrics with examples from the field of merchandise. The 3rd book describes the various construction elements of fabrics of special designs. It deals with the possibilities of creasing during weaving, leno weaves in their various forms, all pile-forming weaving techniques, the production of terry toweling, rod and double plushes, weft and rib velvet. The binding technique and the necessary jacquard devices are described in detail. In addition, a section is dedicated to the design of selvedges.
