As the last issue of Medicine, Conflict and Survival was going to press, we learned of the sad death of long-time Editorial Board member Liz Willis. Liz was already a fixture at the journal when we (with Alan Ingram) took over the editorship in 2009, and remained a key member of the Board until we handed over the editorship to the current team in 2017.
