Numerous people associated with Medicine, Conflict & Survival sent messages of condolence and positive memories of Liz Willis - the journal's longest standing editorial board member who died at the end of 2019 - too many to publish. This issue includes a tribute from two previous editors of MCS -Simon Rushton and Maria Kett - who worked with Liz for seven years. We miss her expertise, commitment and humour.
