Latin America: non-nuclear weapon states at the forefront of nuclear disarmament

Out of the 193 UN member States, 9 are nuclear weapons states (NWS). The problem of the catastrophic humanitarian consequences and the threat of annihilation of the use of nuclear weapons is one that was not created by the entire world, but by a few people. However, while the problem is not global in its creation, it is certainly global in its impact.
