At the IPPNW World Congress hosted by Medact in York (UK) in September 2017, members of French Physicians Against Nuclear Weapons (AMFPGN: Association Des Médecins Francais pour la Prévention de la Guerre Nucléaire) discussed the situation in relation to nuclear weapons with other affiliates from nuclear weapons states (NWS).
