摘要

In this article, a nonlinear bending and axisymmetric thermal buckling analysis of thin functionally graded (FG) annular plates is presented based on classical nonlinear Von-Karman's plate theory. Using a shooting method the nonlinear ordinary differential equations are solved numerically. The presented solution is validated by comparing the obtained results with those of an isotropic plate. The emphasis is placed on investigating the effect of varying the gradient index of the FG plate and thermal boundary conditions on the nonlinear bending and post buckling behavior of the FG plate in detail.
