Oil filter adapter

To take advantage of the benefits provided by full synthetic oils, Busch now offers a new bolt on oil filter adapter for all R 5 series vacuum pumps. The new adapter repositions the spin-on oil filter to a vertical, self-draining position to allow changing of the oil filter without draining or changing the pump oil. A key benefit of using synthetic oil is extended drain intervals, which does require that the oil be continually filtered to remove particulates. Oil sampling and testing are used to monitor the condition of the oil and determine when the oil filter should be changed (and also when the lubricant should be changed), increasing oil drain intervals and saving time and money.
