CONSTRUCTION BEGINS AT CARGILL'S NEW HQ

The Opus Group has announced the start of construction on Cargill's new headquarters for its North American protein business in Wichita, Kansas. The new office building is scheduled for completion in October of 2018 and cover 190,000 sq. ft. Features of the new building include four stories of office space, an immersive technology center, presentation kitchen, sensory center kitchen, employee cafe space and testing booths on the first floor and third floor balcony. According to Opus, the design will encourage collaboration in space adequate to house up to 950 employees. The project also includes an 800-car parking garage for Cargill's employees during work hours and for public use for events in Old Town and the nearby arena.
