The Meat Block acquires Haen Meat Packing

The Meat Block (TMB),based in Greenville, Wis.,announced it acquired Kaukauna, Wis.-based Haen Meat Packing Co.Haen is a second-generation meat processing operation founded in 1959. The company features meat cuts and a large selection of cured and smoked meats and sausage products using proprietary, family recipes. The Meat Block was founded by Phil Schmidt, a former Haen Meats employee. He is a co-owner of The Meat Block with his partner,Clyde Weycker.TMB offers a variety of selected meats and homemade items from its onsite smokehouse.
