TIME-TYPE TRANSFORMER-BASED ANALOG-TO-DIGITAL CONVERTER OF ANGULAR DISPLACEMENTS

摘要

A time-type transformer-based analog to digital converter of angular displacements is developed, without a stage of displacement-phase conversion. Displacements are directly transformed into a time interval and then digitized. We present a functional schematic of the device, its mathematical description, and estimate the maximal relative error.
