Exova Group, PLC (Edinburgh, United Kingdom), a global testing, calibration, and advisory services provider, opened a new laboratory in Johor, Malaysia in response to growing demand from the oil and gas and industrial sectors. The move will extend Exova's geographical reach and support the expansion of its offering to customers across the growing economies of the Asia Pacific regions. The new laboratory will work closely with Exova's existing laboratory in Singapore to offer customers a range of metallurgical testing capabilities. The existing laboratory in Singapore and the new facility in Johor will offer complementary testing services, which will allow the concentration of specific expertise in each laboratory, produce efficiencies, and reduce turnaround times for customers. The move will also give customers in the region greater access to international testing standards as well as the convenience of a new location close to oil and gas and infrastructure projects.
