摘要

Pure potassium niobate (KNbO3) powders were prepared at low temperatures by an efficient method using K2CO3 and Nb2O5 as raw materials and urea as fuel. The crystal structure and morphology of the powders were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results reveal that cubic phase KNbO3 powders can be obtained at 550°C by the low-temperature combustion method and with the temperature increasing to 700°C they change to orthorhombic phase KNbO3.
