摘要

The Schiff base ligand 2-[(E)-(2-Hydroxynaphthalen-1-yl)-methylideneamino] isoindoline-1,3-dione, is synthesised. That Schiff base structure is recognized through the different analytically spectroscopic techniques. That synthesised Schiff base was employed as an electrode membrane in Ion selective electrode. That membrane was fabricated with newly synthesised lonophore (Schiff base ligand). To achieve good result for ducted the copper ion the PVC matrix and different plasticizer which demonstrated good transferring of these metal ions. The newly synthesise Schiff base complex and its membrane proposing application as an ion selective membrane material as the Ion Selective Electrode.
