摘要

The electrolytic coloring is a simple and one-pot route to beautiful colored anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) film. In this work, we developed a novel electrolyte for iron electrolytic coloring of AAO film. AAO film was immersed into FeSO_4citric acid-ascorbic acid mixed bath and electrolytically colored at an alternate current voltage. Fe ions were electrochemically reduced at the pore bottoms of the AAO film, and the electrolytic colored AAO film showed black color. The electrolyte could be repeatedly used to obtain AAO films colored uniformly.
