Jan Kromhout newly appointed partner at AKD

Dutch law firm AKD Prinsen van Wijmen N.V., which employs 230 lawyers and notaries, appointed Jan Kromhout as a partner in its shipping and offshore team. Kromhout started at AKD in November 2007. Jan Kromhout (37) began his career in Rotterdam with law firm Nauta Dutilh. In 2005 he joined heavy marine transport and installation company Dockwise, where he became head of the legal department and which resulted in an extensive experience of arranging contracts involving the oil and gas industry.
