A new dimension for forged shafts of up to 16 metres in length In collaboration with the University of Brescia, the Italian forging and machining company OFAR S.P.A., which has been member of the GIVA Group since 1985, has developed vertical heat treatment towers where shafts of a length of up to 16 metres are monitored after the forging process, and which can be both heated and cooled.
