Busy times at De Hoop Shiprepair

Besides engineering and building specialised vessels, there is a growing market for Shipyard De Hoop in conversions, maintenance and repair works. This service aims to provide existing customers of new build vessels long-term service contracts to control their total costs and assure quality during the lifecycle of their vessels. This winter period, at least fifteen inland passenger and cruise vessels visited De Hoop Shiprepair at their yards in Lobith and Foxhol. The staff of the yard also went abroad to do many different repair activities, such as installing the most modern sewage plants on four existing vessels, but also small renovations have been carried out in France. Two vessels were totally provided with new rooms and the latest entertainment systems have been installed.
