Innovation project: ECO~2 Inland Uessel

The inland shipping market is in need of innovative impulses to keep the sector profitable and make it an even more environmentally friendly mode of transport. For this cause, some of the most technologically innovating companies and organisations join forces. They have formed a cross-border consortium under the name ECO2 Inland Vessel. Coordinating partner Wartsila Netherlands B.V. together with Koedood Dieselservice, Reederei Deymann, TeamCo Shipyard BV, The Kooiman Group, Wartsila Hamworthy BV and knowledge institutes TNO, DST and Hochschule Emden-Leer have all the necessary skills and knowledge to give inland shipping a decisive new direction.
