Seacor's new speedy cat

Seacor Marine's new 170 ft twin-hull crewboat is aptly named the Seacor Cheetah. The first CrewZer Class vessel, the Seacor Cheetah is capable of a top speed in excess of 40-knots — more than twice that of conventional crewboats. Its maximum speed is 42 knots. Designed by Australia's Incat-Crowther and built at Gulf Craft, Inc., Patterson, La., the Seacor Cheetah has an overall length of 170 ft, beam of 38 ft and loaded draft of 7 ft.
