Miko's magnetic patches patch up vessel's hull holes problem

The 54 m CM. Service was able to return to work 60 days after two holes were ripped into its hull while it was offshore Kazakhstan performing supply duties in the Caspian Sea. The holes resulted in the flooding of the engine room. Flexible magnetic patches from Norway-based Miko Marine AS, were fitted over the holes by divers the very next day with high-power magnets reinforcing the patches. Once the magnetic patches were in place, the engine room was pumped partially dry.
