Heavy Duty for Volvo Penta at SMM

Swedish enginebuilder Volvo Penta has introduced a new range of marine engines in the 91 range. The six-cylinder D9 Heavy Duty series, available in three power settings for propulsion — 300, 350 and 425hp — or as complete marine gensets, has been developed to replace both its seven and ten litre propulsion engines and the company is marketing the series at the heavy duty-end of the workboat market, namely inland ferries, small passenger ferries and fishing boats and so on.
