Hong Kong owners support Danes on greenhouse gases

The Hong Kong Shipowners Association (HKSOA) has keenly taken part in the development of effective ways to reduce the effect of the maritime industry's greenhouse gas emissions.rnThe Association supports the work of the IMO in developing an Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI) as it will be formulated for specific ship types and sizes. It also supports the development of sector specific Energy Efficiency Operational Indicators (EEOI) that will be included in Shipboard Efficiency Management Plans (SEMP).
