A President's perspective on naval engineering

Nigel Guild is a man of many talents. Hernhas followed a distinguished career as an RN Weapons Engineer Officer, culminating in a period as Controller of the Navy, with overall responsibility for the procurement of all Royal Navy equipment, and became its Chief Naval Engineer Officer before retiring in 2009. He is now at the head of the leading marine engineering and science institute.
