I leave my sunny Edinburgh flat and drive down to our main office in Leith docks. Some days I cycle or even run to the office, but I know I have a busy week ahead, including a trip to the archipelago of Orkney in northern Scotland, so time is of the essence. I spend the morning going over all the maintenance work that has been completed on the machines in Orkney since they were last installed and making sure all the paperwork is up to date, including the completion of pre-installation check sheets so that we can install one of the machines later in the week. Once all that's done I get in touch with our client to have the weekly chat about operations in Orkney and what will be going on that week.
