Collision course

At 0419hon6July 2014 in clear visibility, the 185m-long container ship Kota Wajar collided with the luxury yacht Blazing Keel'm Brisbane's Moreton Bay. The collision took the husband and wife team aboard the yacht entirely by surprise and the Kota Wajar left the scene without the crew realising anything had occurred at all. Efforts then had to be undertaken to ensure the Blazing Keelwas still watertight before the situation was mollified.
