Lube production ramped up in Singapore

Marine lubricant supplierTotal says growing demand for its products in the Asia-Pacific region was a key factor in its decision to open a new blending plant with annual production capacity of 310,000 tons in Singapore. Lubricants produced at the plant will supply the region, which represents more than one-quarter of Total's sales. The company predicts demand will grow by 18% and reach 20 million tons by 2025, accounting for almost a half of global demand.
