Japan Radio Co (JRC) has received approval from class society DNV GL for its latest bridge system. It has gained Integrated Navigation System (INS) type approval for its multifunction workstations, which means that the flexible system exceeds the new IMO performance standard that is within Maritime Safety Committee (MSC) resolution MSC.252(83). It also means JRC's integrated bridge can be expanded to meet the highest class notations, such as Naut- OC or Naut-OSV for offshore support vessels.
