Mars and IBM for safer food

Scientists from Mars and IBM Research have recently established the Sequencing the Food Supply Chain Consortium, a collaborative food safety platform that will further understanding of what makes food safe. The consortium will categorize and work to understand micro-organisms and the factors that influence their activity in a normal, safe factory environment.
