Hershey-funded operation producing therapeutic food in Ghana

In partnership with Project Peanut Butter, the Her-shey Company recently helped to open a manufacturing facility in Kumasi, Ghana. The Hershey Company has invested more than $1 million toward the project to help malnourished children. The plant produces peanut-based ready-to-use therapeutic foods (RUTFs) endorsed by leading NGOs as the most effective treatment for severe childhood malnutrition.
