When architecture turns into communication

Indubitably architecture is a form of communication and its identity finds expression through an appropriate use of shapes, materials, colours, and light. This scenario provides the language we can use to express, get across and signify the intentions and the characteristics of the activity performed, thereby generating a mutual exchange between the different players concerned. In this connection, lighting may be regarded to all intents and purposes as a formidable motive of attraction, in terms of both the perception of architectural space as a whole and the presentation of the contents, as a sort of diversification factor, enabling a place to acquire a unique personality and hence communicate to the public a clear-cut identify of its own.
