The biennial event Light+Building will last six days in Frankfurt, from the 11 th to the 16th of April 2010. Skill, details and forward-looking designs are the defining features of this event, now is in its 6th year. The International exhibition will feature a vast number of exhibits relating to light and building technology, which should please its many visitors (last time more than 165,000, almost half of whom came from abroad). For the lighting industry and those who work in it, Light+Building has become one of the main exhibitions, offering a total overviewrnof the market, encompassing lighting, electronic engineering, home automation and facilities automation. The products are sophisticated and designer-made, offering the widest possible variety of products for all applications. 'Evergreen' themes which have become de rigueur will be energy saving, alternative power supplies and LED lighting systems - all of which are now routinely used by designers and architects who are always on the lookout for new applications.
