Metrolink's role in the Greater Manchester vision

High-capacity Metrolink lines in Manchester (UK) city centre and orbital routes are among proposals to be consulted on this summer. The ideas are part of the vision for Greater Manchester in 2040 that include improvements to the heavy rail network, development of rapid transit links to Manchester Airport and underground services, as well as road improvements.
