摘要

The effects of preheating technology, cathode block materials andrnother factors on the integrity of the cell during flame preheating ofrnaluminum reduction cells were investigated. The temperaturernfields, gas dynamics, and stress-strained state of the reduction cellrnduring flame preheating were studied using mathematicalrnmodeling in an ANSYS finite-element package and Star-CDrnCFD-package. The best way to cover the peripheral seams duringrnpreheating has been identified.
