Since 2012, the Library of the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities has systematically reviewed its collection in order to identify Nazi-looted books. This article gives an outline of the aims of the project and recent findings. The most important result so far is that Nazi-looted books usually did not come directly to the library, but rather were acquired from intermediaries such as antiquarian booksellers or other libraries.%Die Berliner Akademiebibliothek führt seit 2012 systematische Recherchen nach NS-Raub-gut in ihren Beständen durch. Der Beitrag gibt einen Überblick über die Projektziele und vorläufige Ergebnisse. In der Akademiebibliothek, deren Bestände u.a. aufgrund fehlender Erwerbungsmittel bis 1945 nur langsam, ab 1950 aber sehr schnell anwuchsen, überwiegt „sekundäres Raubgut". Bei 2.079 Zugängen bis zum Erwerbungsjahr 1956 besteht ein Raubgutverdacht im engeren Sinne.
