WV Library Gets $2.5M Restored

On September 4, the Kanawha County Board of Education, reversed its late August decision to cut $2.5 million from the budget of the Kanawha County Public Library (KCPL), Charleston, WV—one-third of the library's annualrnfunding. The reprieve came after school and library officials agreed to seek a legislative solution before the next fiscal year begins in June 2008.
