Solidarity to Vancouver

I read about the strike at Vancouver Public Library (VPL) (News, LJ 9/1/07, p. 16). I gave a paper on social exclusion to the VPL staff conference, and we organized for a member of VPL staff to work in Lincolnshire Libraries as part of her professional education. On behalf of Lincolnshire UNISON (representing library workers in Lincolnshire public libraries), I send this message of solidarity to our colleagues at VPL.
