Tonight, after dark, go out and take a freshrnlook at your library. Notice how the lighting works, or works too hard. Is the walkway to the front door bright despite being empty? Is the parking lot, sans cars, aglow? Is light shining in your eyes from the building or grounds? Look up. Can you see stars? Then, imagine light when and where you need it, illuminating a path to the library entrance as you walk along it; a parking lot lit only when occupied; looking up from your screen or book to view the constellations, even the Milky Way.
