The Internet is now a part of modern life, but how was it created The NationalrnScience Foundation (NFS), an independent US federal agency that supports fundamental research and education across all fields of science and engineering, has created a multimedia/interactive website to show how the technology behind the Internet was created and how NSFNET, a network created to help university researchers in the 1980s, grew to become the Internet we know today.
