Enlarging the Circle: Heritage Month Lecture Explores Panethnicity

In her May 15 lecture, delivered as part of the Library's celebration of Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month, Bonnie Oh, professor of Korean Studies at Georgetown University, referred to Yen Le Espiritu's 1992 book Asian-American Panethnicity, noting that this would be a good title for her talk. The subject, she said, is one she has been contemplating for some time and has assumed even greater importance to her with the birth of her grandchildren.
