Gerechtigkeit im Klimawandel — eine sozialphilosophische Betrachtung

The aim of this article is to discuss international climate policy primarily in its moral aspects. Countries, regions and social classes are emitting greenhouse gases in proportions which are sometimes very different. Different emissions in history are also relevant in changing climate conditions today. Considering the unequal responsibilities it seems to be consequent to impose different obligations in mitigating and adapting climate change. Some countries and classes have more responsibilities e.g. in financing, other countries hold rights to receive help as well as money for corresponding activities. In this perspective the article pretends to develop a conception of global emission trading which may be both consistent from a moral point of view and workable in the international negotiations on climate policy.
